Sundance Mountain Resort has always been renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty, outstanding terrain, and commitment to delivering an exceptional skiing and snowboarding experience. This season, we’re taking it up a notch. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s new and exciting for the ‘23-24 season!

Significant Jake’s Lift Area Improvements

Say goodbye to the skier road crossing inconveniences of the past. We’ve leveled up your experience at Sundance by implementing a new road realignment in the Jake’s Lift area. This means smoother access to Jake’s Lift, we’ve moved the road to the north side of the parking lot which means no more skier crossing. With these improvements, Sundance continues to prioritize the safety and convenience of its visitors.

New Beginner Terrain

For skiers looking for a more accessible route back to the upper parking lots, you’re in luck! This season, we’re introducing a brand new beginner run from the Jake’s Lift area. This addition not only makes the resort more beginner-friendly but also provides everyone with an alternative route, further reducing congestion and wait times. It’s all part of our commitment to creating a more enjoyable experience for our beloved guests.

Additional Parking

Finding the perfect parking spot can be a challenge during the peak season, but this year, we’ve got your back. We added 80 additional parking stalls in the upper lots for the ‘23-24 season. It’s always a priority to get you on and off the mountain in the most efficient, convenient way possible, and we’re upholding that priority by ensuring a smooth and comfortable parking experience for you.

Improved Snowmaking Capabilities

When it comes to ensuring some of the best skiing in Utah, snow quality is key. We understand the importance of good snow, which is why we’ve expanded our snowmaking capabilities in the Jakes Lift area to include the new beginner run. This means that even when Mother Nature is a bit shy with the snowfall, Sundance can still provide you with excellent conditions. You’ll have more time on the slopes and fewer worries about the weather!
