The Sundance experience is a careful balance of art, nature, and community. That’s why every summer we love to bring the arts to the forefront with our free music events on the lawn, to celebrate and inspire our community. These family-friendly live music nights are a great way to get outside with your kids and loved ones for a memorable summer evening.
Sounds of Summer
Our Sunday evening concert series, Sounds of Summer, has been a favorite for Utah locals for years. These full-band shows are highly popular events and make for an incredible evening on the mountain. The Lawn will be full, The Lookout will be open and serving up delicious mountain BBQ including loaded tots, tacos and brisket sandwiches, and the music will be the cherry on top of your festive night at Sundance!
From singer-songwriters like Jonny Gold and Matthew & the Hope, to the bluegrass-inspired beauty of Michelle Moonshine, the gritty country sound of Triggers & Slips, and the reggae-infused Americana vibe of the Hardy Brothers, music fans of all kinds can enjoy their favorite genre at Sounds of Summer this year.

From July 6 until August 31, there will be a free set from a solo artist onstage at The Lawn every week. Planning Your Evening
Outside food and drinks are not allowed at Sundance, but The Lookout is a short walk away from the Sounds of Summer stage. The Foundry Grill and The Deli are also great options for a quick bite to eat before the shows.
The Sundance Deli is located in the heart of the village and showcases a variety of made-to-order sandwiches and salads, plus house-made baked goods, smoothies, coffee and espresso. If you haven’t dined at The Lookout yet, this is a great option for dinner before or during the concerts! Reinvented from the original Creekside Cafe, this restaurant-with-a-view serves up delectable mountain barbecue alongside sweeping views of the Wasatch.
Use any of our available parking spots to access these summer concerts in the lower village. As always, the earlier the better if you want to find a spot easily for both parking and sitting on the lawn for the shows.
At Sundance, we’re a community of people who appreciate the beauty of nature and the craft of artistry in every expression. We hope you, your family and friends will join us for one or more of these free concerts throughout the gorgeous summer months in the mountains!
