Amy Mason

A woman with wavy brown hair, wearing a sleeveless black top and a pendant necklace, stands outdoors, smiling with her arms crossed. Green trees and a path are visible in the background.

Amy Baker Mason is a ceramic artist based in Provo, Utah, though she still proudly calls Ephraim home. Her work is inspired by nature and the beauty of simple living. Her work brings art into the everyday—beautifully crafted pieces made to be used and enjoyed.

Most of her art is done with symmetry on a wheel, but she counters that by making every piece different and an original piece of art. She is intentional with variation.

Amy’s love for pottery began in the foothills of the Tetons while working her summers at Bennion Teton Boys ranch. She continued the art while in college then community classes. The pottery therapy now continues in her basement studio built by her ever patient and supportive husband.

She’s a proud mom of two teenage daughters and the unofficial and unpaid pottery teacher to family and friends who want to play in the mud too.

Amy is excited to take the next step in her art career with a debut exhibition right in her own backyard—at the beautiful Sundance Resort.

For McKenzie, the natural world is a constant source of inspiration. Driving through the valleys and canyons of Utah, she developed an eye for the changing light and the way it transforms the land. This fascination led her to make the study and painting of landscapes her life’s work. In the winter, McKenzie captures the energy of skiers gliding down slopes at Western U.S. resorts, while in the summer, she focuses on the local mountains and landscapes surrounding her home. When she can find time away from her two young daughters, McKenzie often paints en plein air, connecting directly with the environment that inspires her.
