Powder Days & Slow Nights

Book Your Stay

Fresh tracks. Firelit evenings.

Some winter trips are made for chasing every last run. This one leaves room for the good parts in between: the hush of snow in the Village, a corner seat by the fire, lift rides beneath Timpanogos, warm tubs under cold skies, and dinners that stretch long after the last chair. Powder Days & Slow Nights is a winter stay built for skiers who want the mountain close, the evenings unhurried, and the whole weekend to feel unmistakably Sundance: artful, soulful, mountain-rooted, and full of quiet character.

At A Glance

Ideal For: Couples, ski travelers, winter weekenders, après-minded mountain guests
Stay Length: 2 nights / 3 days
Season: Winter
Pace: Active days, slow evenings

Day 1: First Tracks, Then Après

Arrive, exhale, and let the mountain take over.

3:00 PM – Check into The Inn and trade highway mode for mountain mode. Layers off, slippers on, deep breath.

4:30 PM – Ease into the evening with cocktails in The Living Room. Order something smoky, claim a corner seat, and let someone else tend the fire.

6:30 PM – Dinner at The Tree Room, where the lighting is low, the wine list invites lingering, and the Pepper Steak has developed something of a following.

9:00 PM – Nightcap at The Owl Bar beneath the original outlaw bar top. Live music encouraged. Dancing optional.

Day 2: Ski, Sip, Repeat

Spend the day on the mountain, then let the evening thaw you out.

7:30 AM – Breakfast in The Living Room. Coffee first, decisions later.

9:00 AM – Onto the mountain. Choose groomers, glades, long cruisers, or a lesson to sharpen the edges, with bluebird skies and views for days.

12:30 PM – Lunch at Bearclaw Cabin. The nachos are a worthy antidote to tired legs.

2:00 PM – Take a few more laps before drifting back down to the Village for après at The Owl Bar.

4:00 PM – Visit The Springs and warm those well-earned ski legs in one of three relaxation tubs.

7:30 PM – Settle in for a hearty dinner at Foundry Grill, followed by a slow walk through a snow-covered Village that always feels a little cinematic.

Day 3: One Last Run

Sleep in, look up, and make the mountain goodbye last a little longer.

8:30 AM – Sleep in. You’ve earned it.

9:30 AM – Enjoy a final breakfast at Foundry Grill. Request a seat by the fireplace; it will not disappoint.

11:00 AM – Ride the lift one more time, just for the view, then sneak in a few farewell runs before checkout and the inevitable plotting of your return trip.

Where To Stay: The Inn

Unwind and connect in the center of it all. With mountain views, a flowing creek, and immediate access to dining, art, and outdoor experiences, The Inn offers a seamless blend of energy and ease, designed for days well spent and evenings well savored.

Optional Ways to Personalize This Stay

For more skiing: Add a private lesson, explore a new zone of the mountain, or start Day 2 early enough to catch the first clean lines of the morning.

For more après: Build in extra time at The Owl Bar, linger longer over live music, or return after dinner for one more round before calling it a night.

For more restoration: Add a spa treatment, extend your time at The Springs, or keep one afternoon unscheduled for firelight, reading, and recovery.

For more romance: Request a fireplace table, plan a quiet nightcap, or take a snow-covered Village walk after dinner while the resort settles into evening.

For food lovers: Let the weekend move from Pepper Steak at The Tree Room to Bearclaw nachos, Foundry Grill comfort, and one final breakfast by the fire.

For newer skiers: Swap a full ski day for a lesson, a scenic lift ride, and a slower afternoon in the Village so the mountain still feels welcoming, not rushed.
