Less than an hour from Salt Lake City and Park City, Sundance Mountain Resort is easy to get to, yet feels a world away from the crowds. Ski terrain ranges from mellow groomers to sweeping powder bowls and aspen groves, across more than 450 skiable acres at 8,250 feet.
Lift tickets & season passes
Whether you're planning one day on the mountain or an entire season, Sundance Mountain Resort has a pass built for you. Day skiers can choose from full-day, afternoon, twilight, or night lift tickets. For those who keep coming back, an Unlimited, VIP, Midweek, or Night Pass unlocks more of the mountain. The S-Card is the best option for occasional day visitors. Corporate Pass options are also available.

The Sundance Mountain Resort snowsports school is fully accredited and PSIA certified, known for our exceptional instructors and a genuine commitment to sharing the love of snowsports with the next generation. Skiing at Sundance Mountain Resort by Season
Early Season: December
Opening day at Sundance Mountain Resort typically arrives in early December. Early season is a quieter time on the mountain and a great moment to lock in your Unlimited Pass before prices increase.
Peak Season: January through February
January and February bring the full mountain experience at Sundance Mountain Resort. With conditions at their best, all 72 trails and 10 lifts are typically running, night skiing is in full swing Monday through Saturday, and the Snowsports School is booking lessons across all skill levels. Still far less crowded than the resorts to the north.
Spring Skiing: March through Closing
Spring skiing at Sundance Mountain Resort means softer snow, longer daylight, and a quieter mountain. The canyon comes back to life around you, temperatures climb, and the après experience at the Tree Room and Owl Bar feels unhurried. A great time to visit for guests who want the full resort experience without the peak-season pace.
