We are thrilled to confirm that this upcoming Saturday December 2 will be our opening day for skiing and snowboarding. Lifts in operation will include Outlaw Express from midway down, Jake’s Lift and the Beginner Area including all three magic carpets. Come celebrate opening day with swag for first chair at both Outlaw Express and Jakes Lift, donuts and music!
Runs opening will include: Upper Stampede, Center Isle, Lower Stampede, Bandit, Outlaw Trail, Red Canyon, The Rollers, Upper Maverick and Lower Maverick.
Terrain park: a temporary small terrain park will be setup on Lower Stampede with boxes and rails.
Ticket pricing: We will be offering the S-Card on Saturday, December 2nd. Cost is $109 for adults and $69 for children 12 & under. The S-Card will then allow guests to ski for $99 a day on weekends/holidays and $69 on weekdays for any subsequent visits. The S-Card can be purchased online in advance and picked up at a ticket kiosk or the Main Ticket Office. It is HIGHLY encouraged that season pass holders pick up their passes prior to Saturday!
Parking: paid parking will go into effect this Saturday. Please familiarize yourself with our parking policy on our website at www.sundanceresort.com/parking/
Ski School and Ski Rentals: will be open and operating. Rentals available at both SMO and SMO 2.0.
Night skiing will begin December 15th. The Nordic Center will remain closed until more natural snow will allow for opening. Winter Zip Tour opens December 16th. The Lookout will start serving hot food December 15th. The Deli and Foundry Grill will be open!
Early season conditions exist so guests are highly advised to stay on designated and groomed runs. We anticipate a high volume of guests so please ski safely and in control.
