This book is about how oil and gas companies knew about climate change’s devastating impacts on the planet as far back as the 1950s—and yet they did nothing to warn the world. What they did instead was instigate a misinformation campaign—borrowing tactics and advertising reps from Big Tobacco—to make some Americans believe climate change isn’t real.
