Girls Getaway in the Mountains

Book Your Stay

Wildflower days. Music-filled nights.

A summer girls’ getaway at Sundance is made for long conversations, wildflower trails, patio dinners, creekside wandering, and music that carries into the night air. The days move easily from mountain adventure to spa-time softness, from boutique browsing to barbecue beneath the trees, with plenty of room for photos, laughter, and the rare pleasure of having nowhere to rush. It is playful, restorative, and rooted in Sundance’s blend of nature, art, recreation, and soul.

Day 1: Arrive, Unpack, Unwind

Drop the bags, cue the playlist, and let the canyon do the rest.

4:00 PM – Check into your Cottage and settle into mountain mode. Bags down, playlists on, deep breath.

5:30 PM – Cocktails and snacks in the Tree Room Library. The mood is equal parts cozy lounge and “we should absolutely stay one more night.”

7:00 PM – Dinner beneath the trees on the Foundry Grill patio. Shared appetizers, crisp wine, and conversation that somehow gets better as the sun goes down.

9:00 PM – Head to The Owl Bar for live music, a nightcap, and just enough dancing to qualify as cardio.

Day 2: Wildflowers, Wellness & Music Under the Stars

Spend the day in bloom, then let the evening turn into a song.

8:00 AM – Ease into the morning with breakfast at Foundry Grill. Coffee first, plans second.

10:00 AM – Ride Outlaw up the mountain and hike down toward Dry Lakes, where summer wildflowers can fill the meadows with lupine, Indian paintbrush, and sticky geranium. Wander through panoramic mountain views with plenty of “wait, take my picture here” moments along the way.

1:00 PM – Lunch in the Village, followed by a leisurely afternoon of spa treatments, creekside lounging, boutique browsing, or an Art Studio class for the creatively inclined.

4:30 PM – Return to your room for the sacred girls’-trip ritual of taking your time getting ready, music on, with no rush to be anywhere.

6:00 PM – BBQ dinner in The Grove before the show. Think smoky barbecue, cold drinks, mountain air, and long picnic-table conversations as the sun dips behind the peaks.

8:00 PM – Settle in for the Bluebird Café Concert Series under the stars, with acoustic sets, songwriter stories, and that unmistakable Sundance feeling: intimate, soulful, and hard to forget.

Day 3: Crisp Air & Coffee To-Go

A final slow morning for browsing, lingering, and making return plans too early.

8:30 AM – Slow morning energy. Coffee in The Living Room, breakfast downstairs, or both.

10:00 AM – Take one last stroll through the Village for handmade goods, art prints, candles, or the sweatshirt someone has been thinking about since Day 1.

11:30 AM – Check out feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already planning your return before you have even left the canyon.

The bridge at the Inn.

Optional Ways to Personalize This Stay

For more celebration: Add a welcome bottle, flowers, matching sweatshirts, or a surprise dessert at dinner for birthdays, reunions, or milestone weekends.

For more adventure: Add ziplining, mountain biking, horseback riding, or a longer hike if your group wants a little more altitude in the itinerary.

For more restoration: Book spa treatments, leave extra time for creekside lounging, or protect one afternoon with no plans beyond reading, napping, and catching up.

For more creativity: Add an Art Studio class so everyone leaves with something handmade, whether it is jewelry, pottery, or a piece shaped by the weekend.

For music lovers: Build the trip around a Bluebird Café Concert Series date, add live music at The Owl Bar, and leave the evening open after the show.

For photo moments: Plan the wildflower hike for soft morning light, pause at the lift views, and save time for one last group photo in the Village before checkout.
