Adam James
Adam James was raised on a farm in central Illinois. As a child of 90s country radio, he always dreamed of making music in Music City. Now, Adam currently writes for Universal Music Publishing Group and his songs have been recorded by Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch, Nate Smith, and many more. He has four songs on Johnson’s new album “Leather”, which won CMA Album Of The Year, and recently achieved his first #1 hit with Chesney’s “Knowing You”, which was also nominated for ACM Song Of The Year.
Rocky Block
Born and raised in Music City, Rocky Block grew up steeped in the sounds of Nashville. The son of legendary radio host and alt-country promoter Billy Block—an early advocate for the independent roots movement that became known as Americana—Rocky inherited not only a deep love for music, but also a rare ability to spot what resonates beyond the mainstream.
Bringing his own unique artistic voice to the craft, Block has quickly become one of the most exciting emerging songwriters in Nashville. His work connects across genres, earning him a reputation for both versatility and authenticity.
In 2024, Block was named AIMP Nashville’s Rising Songwriter of the Year, recognized as a Variety Hitmaker, and received his first CMA Triple Play Award for writing three #1 country radio hits in a single year:
· “Man Made A Bar” – Morgan Wallen feat. Eric Church
· “Cowgirls” – Morgan Wallen feat. Ernest
· “Pour Me A Drink” – Post Malone feat. Blake Shelton
He also co-wrote four songs on Teddy Swims’ latest album, including the fan favorite “Bad Dreams.”
Block’s writing credits include a wide range of artists across country, hip-hop, and pop, with songs recorded by Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, Young Thug, Lauren Alaina & Lainey Wilson, Cole Swindell, Nelly & Kane Brown, Jordan Davis, Jake Owen, and many others. He also celebrated a #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart with Lil Durk & Morgan Wallen’s genre-blending hit, “Broadway Girls.”
Whether in a writing room or behind the scenes, Rocky Block continues to shape the sound of today’s music—one hit at a time.
Allison Veltz Cruz
Born in Alabama into a musical family, Allison Veltz Cruz grew up moving around frequently. Music ultimately led her to Music City in 2011, where she quickly notched her first #1 platinum song “Mr. Taxi” recorded by K-pop group, Girls’ Generation. Since then, she’s topped the Billboard Country charts with Matt Stell’s double platinum, two-week #1 “Prayed For You” and Tenille Arts’ platinum hit “Somebody Like That,” which made country music history as the first country #1 to be written, performed and produced by all females. She also scored Jason Aldean’s hit single “Let Your Boys Be Country”.
Allison has also had songs recorded by Lady A, Dierks Bentley, Nate Smith, Josh Ross, Michael Ray, Drew Baldridge, Carly Pearce, George Birge, Maddie & Tae, and many more. Allison’s impressive catalog has earned her national recognition, including the 2020 AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers) Rising Songwriter of the Year Award. Most recently, she signed with Universal Music Publishing Group for an exclusive global publishing deal.
