Rehabilitated Bird Release

Experience the thrill of witnessing a rehabilitated bird of prey take flight as they rejoin the wilds. This very special event takes place on just a few select dates each summer in collaboration with Great Basin Wildlife Rescue at our mountaintop Bearclaw Cabin.

Before the bird’s release, a fascinating educational session takes place in which guests learn about the bird’s distinct characteristics, behaviors, and environment. Then, the big moment: a majestic creature returns to the place they belong, after weeks or months of rehabilitation labor and hope on the part of both the rescuers and the birds.

No ticket required to attend, but you do need a ticket if you want to ride the trio of scenic chairlifts to the mountaintop.
The program begins promptly at 1pm. Please board Outlaw Express Lift by noon to ensure ample time to reach the summit.
