Destination Healthy Skin

Destination Healthy Skin is The Skin Cancer Foundation’s mobile skin cancer screening and education program. Since its launch, the program’s team of volunteer dermatologists has:
    • Provided 34,000 free skin cancer screenings.
    • Identified more than 13,700 potential skin cancers and precancers, including 672 suspected melanomas.
    • Distributed free skin cancer educational materials and sun protection products to more than 116,000 people.

The 38-foot Destination Healthy Skin RV is equipped with two private exam rooms where volunteer dermatology providers perform screenings. In the waiting area, program managers answer questions and distribute skin cancer early detection and prevention information.

The Foundation will host Destination Healthy Skin events in approximately 40 cities this year and Sundance Resort is grateful to be included on their tour. Everyone is invited to come by on September 26th & 27th from 1 - 4pm for complimentary exams (no appointment necessary), educational materials, and sun protection products.
