Couples Escape

Book Your Stay

Mountain days. Candlelit nights.

Some weekends are made for doing everything. This one is made for doing just enough. A summer couples escape at Sundance Mountain Resort moves between mountain air, artful interiors, lingering meals, creekside quiet, and a little indulgence after dark. It is equal parts playful and restorative: cocktails in The Living Room, aspens overhead, silver shaped by hand, dinner beneath the trees, and one final morning that makes leaving feel like the hardest part.

Day 1: Arrive and Settle INN

Take the scenic route into your stay.

4:00 PM – Check in, then wander through The Inn at an unhurried pace. Meander, linger, and discover art, history, and a few unexpected gems, including the oological cabinet in the lobby.

5:00 PM – Cocktails, a light bite, and a mildly competitive game of backgammon in The Living Room.

7:00 PM – Share a Tomahawk and Sticky Toffee Pudding under the trees on the Foundry Grill patio. No notes.

9:00 PM – End the evening with a nightcap at The Owl Bar, where live music sets the room aglow.

Day 2: Nature, Art & a Little Indulgence

Follow the day from mountain air to handmade craft to a starlit soak.

8:30 AM – Ease into the morning with a Mountain Skillet or Cinnamon Stuffed French Toast at the Foundry Grill.

10:00 AM – Into the mountains you go. Hike through aspen groves, take a scenic lift ride, or try your luck fly fishing the Provo River.

2:30 PM – Toes-up time. Choose a spa treatment, a creekside wander, or a good book in the window seat you have already been eyeing.

4:00 PM – Channel your inner artisan with a silversmithing class in the Art Studio. Bolo tie optional, bragging rights included.

7:00 PM – Pepper Steak, a glass of Judd Hill Cabernet Sauvignon, and conversation that lingers at The Tree Room.

9:00 PM – Soak under the stars at The Springs. No agenda, just steam and sky.

Day 3: One More Morning

Because you are not quite ready to leave.

7:30 AM – Start with coffee and a shirred egg in The Living Room, followed by a slow stretch in the Wellness Classroom.

10:30 AM – 2:00 PM – Take one last wander through the Village, then head up the mountain for lunch at Bearclaw Cabin. Take in the 360-degree views of Utah and Heber Valleys, then make your way back down with the weekend still lingering.

Optional Ways to Personalize This Stay

For more romance: Reserve a quiet table, add a couples spa treatment, or plan your scenic lift ride closer to golden hour.

For more adventure: Choose a longer hike, book a guided fly-fishing outing, add horseback riding, or make the ride down from Bearclaw Cabin part of the fun.

For more restoration: Leave the afternoon open for The Springs, a spa treatment, creekside wandering, or a slow hour with coffee and a book.

For more creativity: Add another Art Studio experience, from pottery to jewelry-making, and bring home something shaped by the weekend.

For food lovers: Let the meals lead the itinerary: Tomahawk on the patio, Pepper Steak in The Tree Room, lunch at Bearclaw Cabin, and one last breakfast in The Living Room.

For a special occasion: Arrange flowers, a welcome amenity, champagne, or a handwritten note waiting in the room before arrival.
