Tucked away beneath the magic of Mt. Timpanogos, Sundance has long been a favorite destination for outdoor adventurers, nature lovers, and artists alike. With pristine slopes, charming accommodations, and a vibrant art and cultural scene, it’s no wonder visitors flock here year-round.
Over the past few years, we’ve been hard at work expanding and enhancing our parking options to better accommodate our guests. We are thrilled to announce significant upgrades to our parking facilities that will make your visit to Sundance even more enjoyable.
Located adjacent to the Resort Village, Lots A and B have undergone a transformation, now featuring new stripes for better organization and flow. Beautifully updated landscaping that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings will welcome guests as they arrive to the base area. These improvements not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of our parking areas but also make it easier for you to find a spot quickly and head straight to the slopes, trails and restaurants.
One of the most exciting updates is the expansion of Lot E! In 2021, we added 90 new spots to this lot, followed by an additional 88 spaces to Lots D and E in 2023. This summer, we’ve completed the final phase of our expansion with 110 more spots in Lot E, bringing the total number of new spaces to nearly 300 in the upper lots. Lot E now offers ample parking, reducing the time spent searching for a spot and giving you more time to enjoy all that Sundance has to offer. In the winter, all three upper lots (Lots C, D & E) are free during the week as well as on weekends for guests who carpool with four or more people in their vehicle.
While winter is prime time for skiing and snowboarding, Sundance is also a summer paradise, offering a variety of activities from hiking and mountain biking to outdoor concerts and art workshops. If the Village parking lots are full, keep in mind the majority of our parking is located in the upper lots.
We recommend allowing a bit of extra time to park and ride the shuttle from these lots to the village. Our free shuttle service makes continuous rounds, ensuring you can easily reach all the activities, performances, and dining outlets available at the resort. Plus, theater guests can use the new walking path, a relatively flat ten-minute shaded walk right to the amphitheater.
With more parking spaces and easier access, you can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time immersing yourself in the beauty and adventure of Sundance Mountain Resort. Whether you’re here for a day of skiing, a summer event, or a relaxing getaway, our upgraded parking facilities are designed to make your visit smoother and more enjoyable.
We look forward to welcoming you to Sundance Mountain Resort and hope these improvements make your time here even more memorable. See you on the mountain!
