With over 2,100 feet of vertical drop, it’s the most vertical descent of any zip line tour in the U.S. You can ride side-by-side with a friend on dual cables as you control your speed. Fly at up to 65 mph, or take it nice and slow, or even pause mid-air to soak in panoramic views of Mount Timpanogos. Whether you’re chasing adrenaline or catching sunsets, the ZipTour delivers high-altitude excitement in an unforgettable alpine setting.

- Reserve ahead online (the ZipTour operates through the summer months, with booking opening during the spring)
- Kids over 10 are welcome (with a few weight/height restrictions, as well as the requirement that a guardian join)
- Tours generally take 2-3 hours
- No previous experience required—your guide will walk you through each step
- You control your speed, so whether you identify as more of a turtle or a hare, you’ll have fun

Packages and specials
ZipTour + Mountaintop Yoga
Offered on select summer dates, you can experience a post-yoga thrill with a ZipTour descent. This ZipTour is intended as an addition to Mountaintop Yoga Group class.
You must register for both the Mountaintop Yoga class and the ZipTour to enjoy both experiences.
ZipTour + summit lunch at Bearclaw Cabin
Fuel up for adventure with a Bearclaw Cabin lunch before your high-speed descent.
Includes a scenic lift ride up, voucher for lunch at Bearclaw Cabin where your tour begins, and all four spans of the ZipTour on your way down.
Cancellation and weather policies:
You can cancel your reservation by calling the ZipTour Office line at 844-ZIP-TOUR. The policy is as follows:
- Cancellation three or more days prior to scheduled tour, may reschedule or will be issued a refund
- Failure to arrive at your scheduled tour date and time forfeits all payment.
- One complimentary reschedule if more than 24-hour notice is given. There will be a $10 rescheduling fee per person for each subsequent rescheduling.
- No refunds can be given after the tour has been rescheduled.
- Your reservation is not considered canceled until you have verification from a Sundance Resort ZipTour Office associate.
A note on weather: Sundance Resort’s ZipTour will not operate in weather conditions which indicate that lightning may be in close proximity, or in sustained winds in excess of 30 mph. Our ZipTour office staff will contact you if we have advanced notice of inclement weather and need to reschedule. If the weather is marginal, please call us for a status update. Do not assume we have cancelled the tour if you have bad weather where you are— we may have sunny skies!
