Ski Season Opening Day

It’s the moment we’ve been waiting for.

Please join us in welcoming the ‘25-’26 ski and snowboard season, including 60 new acres of terrain and a stunning ridge run.

Opening Day will feel extra sweet with hot cocoa and doughnuts for the first 100 guests. Let’s celebrate the start of another unforgettable winter at Sundance Mountain Resort.

Saturday, Dec 6

8:45am First Chair @ Jake's

9am Magic Carpet Beginner Area

Limited Terrain: Maverick, Outlaw Trail, Red Canyon, and Magic Carpets. More terrain will open as conditions allow.

Terrain Park: Yes! There will be a few features along Maverick.

Parking: Complimentary at Mountain Camp until further notice! With only Jake's lift being open, we ask that all day-skiers and riders park in the Mountain Camp parking Lots C, D, & E adjacent to Mountain Camp Day Lodge. Parking in Lot A will continue to be paid or by reservation before 11am.

Services: All skier services will only be operating out of the Mountain Camp Day Lodge including ticketing, rentals, and Mountain Camp Cafe. There will not be any ticket pick-up or rentals available at the Resort Village base. The Shuttle will be running for access to the Magic Carpets. The Lookout will not be open. Everything that a skier or rider will need is at Mountain Camp Day Lodge.

What's Next? We'll open more terrain as conditions allow, likely Outlaw midway down. Friday night is forecasting new snow. As always, please drive safely.
