Terrain Parks

Here at Sundance Resort, you'll find three terrain parks as well as a pump track, each suited for riders and skiers of different abilities. Read on to get to know them. We also host Pop-up Rail Jams and Special Events throughout the season. Watch our calendar for those!

Safety: What to know

Stampede Terrain Park

Feature Size: S-M The park rat’s stomping ground—our homegrown park feels like a big backyard setup. Hike with locals to sharpen your skills on beginner boxes or test the steel on small to intermediate rails.

Directions: Ride Outlaw Express Lift, exit at the midway station, follow Stampede Trail, and the entrance is on the rider’s right.

Maverick Terrain Park

Feature Size: M-L If you’re ready for bigger jumps and steeper rails, this is your spot. Built for advanced riders, this fast, organic park delivers high-energy features that push your limits—while the supportive community keeps the stoke high.

Directions: Ride Jake’s Lift, exit the lift to your right, follow Maverick trail, and the entrance is on rider’s left.

Moonrise Terrain Park

Feature Size: S An inclusive, flowy course with whoops, rollers, and banked turns—perfect for all skill levels.

Directions: Ride Jake’s Lift, exit the lift to your left, follow Lone Pine trail to Draw trail, and the entrance is on rider’s left.

Pump Track

Feature Size: M Tucked in the trees, this organic setup blends hips, quarter-pipes, rollers, and berms. Choose your line—flow left into Stampede’s rail or carve a dynamic path through rollers and berms.

Directions: Ride Jake’s Lift, exit the lift to your right, follow Outlaw trail to Stampede trail, then Red Canyon Trail, and the entrance is on rider’s left.
