Women are the fastest-growing group of anglers, and FFPR offers experiences catered to women of all experience levels.

Fly Fishing is the fastest growing women’s sport because women pick up fly fishing very quickly (a lot quicker than guys). Fly fishing is a finesse sport, where using too much muscle and ego is the wrong approach.

If you are a first-timer, or are new to the sport, you are our favorite client! We love teaching new-comers to the culture of fly fishing, witnessing the smile of their first catch and having the opportunity to teach correct form and best practices from the start. Fly tying and casting technique taught for the beginner, intermediate or avid fly fishers.

Learn the beautiful art of casting a fly rod. Whether you’re a beginner or you just need a little help tightening your loops, you can join us at Sundance Resort, casting on the lawn in the cool mountain air.

Fly Tying Clinic

Fly tying and casting technique taught for the beginner, intermediate or avid fly fishers.

There’s something incredible about catching a fish with a fly that you’ve tied yourself! We specialize in teaching clients to tie flies that work well on the Provo River. We also cover basic entomology to help you know how to chose the right fly on the river. 

The clinics are 2 hours long and can accommodate up to 5 people at a time.
