“I have always been curious about our relationship to place and how that affects our relationships with each other. This curiosity started to extend into exploring our perception of place. This new body of work explores the idea of multiple perspectives and reflections. Perspective can challenge reflections. I portray this idea as “kaleidoscoped” landscapes. Our memories are often combed and curated in a way that we choose to remember, and I try to depict the land as transitory moments that are stored in this special way.”
