Bird Release

Celebrate the end of the summer season in collaboration with Great Basin Wildlife Rescue, which specializes in the rescue and rehabilitation of birds of prey. The program will kick off with an engaging educational experience, where you’ll learn about each bird’s unique features, mannerisms, and natural habitat. Following the educational experience, we will have the privilege of witnessing the release of a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk into its natural environment. Our featured birds for the event include the majestic Red-tailed Hawk, the ghostly Barn Owl, and the formidable Great Horned Owl.
