snowsports merit badge clinics

Scouts can earn their Snowsports Merit Badge at Sundance Resort! Choose either downhill skiing or snowboarding. Scouts will be taught by BSA trained counselors/PSIA & AASI Certified instructors. In order to earn a Snowsports Merit Badge, scouts must complete a full session of two nights on the hill with instructors.

2012 Dates & Times

Sessions are Wednesday nights from 5:00pm - 7:30pm, with free time after lesson to practice newly learned skills. The mountain closes at 9:00pm.

March 14 & 21

Cost

$75.00 per Scout.

Full payment due on first night of lessons. Please have a check made payable to “Sundance Snowsports School.”

Discount lift passes will be available for adult supervisors.

Equipment Rentals

Helmets are available to rent at the rental shop. Equipment rental cost is an additional $9.00 per night. If scouts are renting at Sundance, please arrive 45-50 minutes early to complete the rental process.

Information & Reservations

Scouts must reserve a spot at least two weeks in advance.  For more information and to reserve a spot, email LindaH@sundance-utah.com or call 801.223.4140. Reservations can be made starting December 9, 2011. Space is limited so reserve early.

 

Sundance release forms are required. You will receive them upon reservation and must be signed by parent or guardian before the lesson. No refunds.
