Q: When is camp?

A: Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, June 8th-August 14th.

 

Q: What kinds of activities are scheduled?

A: The Sundance Kids Camp is a nature-themed day camp. Most activities are ecologically-oriented, but many days cover arts, dancing, physical sciences and cultures. Please see the Camp Calendar for more details.

 

Q: How much does it cost?

A: A single day of camp costs $45 per child. 5 days of camp cost $180 per child. Those days do not have to be consecutive.

 

Q: Does Sundance provide transportation for my child?

A: No, you are responsible for your child’s transportation to and from Sundance.

 

Q: Is lunch included?

A: Lunch is not included but may be purchased as an option.

 

Q: Do I have to drive up and supervise my child during lunch?

A: No, we supervise all campers during lunch.

 

Q: Is it a sleep-away camp?

A: No, camp is during the day only.

 

Q: How do I know my child is being properly supervised?

A: All staff undergoes a background check, is CPR certified, and trained to promote healthy interpersonal relations between campers.

 

Q: My child is just a few months away from turning five. Can they still attend camp?

A: No, we cannot accommodate children younger than the age of five.

 

Q: My child has just turned thirteen. Can they come to camp?

A: Children older than twelve may come to camp on a case by case basis. Please call the Sundance Nature Center at 1.801.223.4044.
