Glassblower Studio

Visit the Art Studio’s Glassblowing Studio to watch the poetic motions of Gustavo Calderon Sr. and Fidencio Flores who bring with them the exquisite artistic traditions of Tlaquepaque, Guadalajara, best known for its hand-blown glass. In a perfect fusion of our artistic and environmental purposes, they transform hot molten balls of discarded glass into art pieces, vases, wine glasses, dinner plates or pitchers, many of which you will use in our restaurants or experience at other venues around the resort.

  • Tim Rencher

Tim Rencher, a Utah Native, specializes in pottery. It took only once working at a pottery wheel to be hooked and a passion was born. Tim finds inspiration in the local landscape and wildlife for his award-winning work. Whether pit-fired, classic-shaped, utilitarian or decorative, his use of subtle glazing and often carving into the surface of the piece gives his work a distinctive style.

As a current instructor and exhibiting artist on staff at the Sundance Mountain Resort, Tim can be found helping others discover the joy of working with clay and finding the artist within. Outside of his work, Tim enjoys racing motorcycles, deep powder skiing, and the occasional round of golf.

  • Annalisa Rosenvall

Annalisa Rosenvall graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She has a very busy photography studio, working in both commercial photography and with clients for weddings and other events and also portraiture and the landscape. Where she has worked with both film and digital photography, she is working at this time primarily with digital photography, preferring the flexibility and flow it provides.

As a photography instructor at the Sundance Mountain Resort, Annalisa particularly enjoys the opportunity to see so many perspectives on the art of photography through her student's eyes and to assist them in learning additional tools to expand their own experience in photography.

  • Bonnie Woolsey-Dickinson

Creativity is as natural to us as breathing. For a variety of reasons we discount or "forget" this innate gift. Photography can reopen that door and encourage us in the art of seeing. For all the technology that has been introduced into this medium. it is still the human eye and the willingness to see the ordinary in a fresh way that sets the imagination free to compose images that surprise, inspire and intrigue. I love the stillness that photography brings to my life and the sense of wonder that I experience every time I take my camera to explore both urban and natural landscapes. My images are as varied as the circumstances that prompt me to record them, but I especially like still lifes, nature and children's portraiture. I have had some of my images published in People magazine, the Sundance website and my own line of cards. There is no place more beautiful than Sundance to stir your creative soul and explore color, texture, pattern, light and line.
