Sundance Resort Presents Its First Annual Food and Wine Festival

Featuring Top Area Restaurants and Sundance Label Wine Vintners

(Sundance, Utah) September, 2006—The Sundance Resort will present its First Annual Food and Wine Festival, September 2nd, 2006, from 11 am until 4 pm, on the resort’s lawn at the base of Mt. Timpanogos in Provo Canyon. The event will feature the best in food and wine and will include a roster of top restaurants and the featured vintners of Sundance’s Celebrating Wine as Art program. Admission is $50 and includes access to all vintner and restaurant booths. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sundance Preserve, a non profit organization, committed to the balance of art, nature and community.

“The First Annual Sundance Food and Wine Festival is an exciting opportunity to host some of the best restaurants in the state and showcase our Sundance Label wines in an effort to benefit the Sundance Nature Preserve, which is committed to protecting this canyon for generations to come,” commented Fred Johnson, Sundance Director of Operations.

Restaurants participating in the Food and Wine Festival are the Sundance restaurants, including the award winning Tree Room and Foundry Grill, and Zoom in Park City, as well as The Blue Boar Inn, Café Trio, Chimayo, Fresco Italian Café, Grappa, Lugano, Pine Restaurant, Tony Caputo’s Market and Deli, and Wahso, among others.

Schwab is known for his award winning graphics and logos for such distinctive companies as companies as Coca Cola, The Gap, Nike, Reebok, Pepsi, Apple and AT&T, among many others, as well as the label for the Sundance wines.

In presenting this event, Sundance is partnering with Salt Lake Magazine. Other sponsors include Ken Garff Jaguar who will have their 2007 Jaguar XK, Jaguar XJ, Jaguar S-Type and Jaguar X-Type on display during the event. Other participating sponsors include Pepsi, Sysco and Park City Roasters.
