The Sundance Resort Presents a Special Premiere of The Celestine Prophecy Movie

As Part of a Tree Room Author Series Event with James Redfield and Salle Merrill Redfield

 

(Sundance, Utah) April, 2006—The Sundance Resort in partnership with the Spotted Frog Bookstore presents a special Tree Room Author Series event, “The Celestine Prophecy Movie,” with James and Salle Redfield and special guests, April 8th, 2006 at the Sundance Resort.

Redfield’s phenomenal international bestseller The Celestine Prophecy spent three years on the NYT Best Seller List and was the #1 book in the world for two years running. The story takes the reader on a journey to the rainforests of Peru, where an ancient manuscript, known as the Celestine Prophecy, has been discovered. A paradigm for spiritual discovery, the protagonist’s journey leads him through nine insights of the prophecy whereby he uncovers life’s true purpose and his own destiny.

 

At the Author Series Event, the Redfields will discuss the novel and present a special premiere of the film adaptation of “The Celestine Prophecy.” Part adventure tale, part parable, this spiritual adventure film is imbued with soul stirring music and features an international ensemble cast including Matthew Settle, Thomas Kretschmann, Sarah Wayne Callies, Annabeth Gish, Hector Elizondo, Joaquim de Almeida and Jurgen Prochnow. James Redfield, screenwriter/producer and Salle Merrill Redfield, executive producer will be at the event along with director, Armand Mastroianni. The screening will be at 4:30 pm in the Sundance Screening Room, following the Author Series event. A reception at 7:30 pm in the Sundance Screening Room Gallery will follow the film. Cost of the Author Series Event, the screening and reception is $125. Sold separately, the Author Series event is $95, which includes the discussion, a signed copy of the book, brunch in the award winning Tree Room and gratuity. Alcohol is not included.

Tickets to the screening are $35 and includes a panel discussion with screenwriter producer, James Redfield, executive producer, Salle Redfield, director, Armand Mastroianni and actor Matthew Settle.
